A Coastal Oasis

Secluded on a charming laneway, and home to a couple with a love for family gatherings and a passion for cooking, this island renovation was thoughtfully designed to reflect the vibrant personalities of its homeowners.

Delicately integrating artisan fixtures with structured architectural elements, including tongue and groove ceilings, handmade tiles and coastal rattan seating, this design achieved a stunning aesthetic that was both timelessly inviting and effortlessly coastal.

Having been a home that was fiercely loved in the past, it was important to select products that could withstand the test of time. The creation of a classical space that prioritized the use of top-of-the-line kitchen innovations and strategically planned work areas lay at the heart of this design.

Creating harmony and balance, Jenny Martin Design lightened the pre-existing oak floors with a sand-toned stain mirrored within other classical elements of the home. To soften the space, ethereal sheer drapes were used to diffuse light that streamed through the garden doors, making the kitchen an entertainers dream.

A timeless aesthetic, this design elegantly fuses luxury and function, connecting with the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
