Ode to the Mountains

Nestled along a rugged mountain landscape, Le Moulin was designed to parallel the organic beauty of its surroundings. 

Finding interest in the unexpected, we boldly contrasted finishes, created harmony in the asymmetrical, and integrated warm natural textures that warmly welcomed all who entered. 

Designed with entertainment at the forefront, we prioritized an open concept layout, incorporating 20’ vaulted ceilings to create unity and optimize sightlines between the main living areas. At the heart of the home, the state-of-the-art kitchen stands with a quiet confidence, prioritizing clean lines and ambient lighting that invited the mountainscape in. Framing the white-oak flat panel millwork with a dramatic porcelain slab and linear aged iron pendant, the kitchen quickly became an anchor for the main floor, encouraging social connection and framing the home’s panoramic views. 

Creating continuity, the asymmetrical Living Room fireplace showcases a richly veined porcelain hearth, and daringly introduces deep charcoal shelving, dressed in strategic LED strip lighting, to highlight the homeowners’ coveted collectables. Entering the home, guests are greeted by a bespoke staircase, dressed in square iron balusters and a white oak handrail and treads.
