Seaside Luxury

Nestled on a quiet street in Fairfield, just blocks from the ocean, this home was redesigned in tribute to the Cape Cod aesthetic, complete with a beautiful cedar shake exterior. 

Jenny Martin Design worked with this homeowner to create a space that would reflect a lifetime of travel and showcase a curated collection of fine art. A connection to the water and a focus on quality was at the forefront of this design. 

To honour the theme of seaside luxury, shutters and linen drapes were added, alongside high-end hardware and culinary-grade Miele appliances. The kitchen’s marble-veined backsplash and designer fixtures create a motif of casual coastal elegance. The design team worked closely with the client to source furniture and décor that would perfectly compliment her personal collection. A crisp, ethereal aesthetic was enhanced by iconic furnishings, and the design team hand selected pieces from manufacturers such as Knoll, Tom Dixon and &Tradition to bring this glamorous home to life. 

The result is an elegant and restful seaside retreat that showcases a lifetime of stories.
