Casual Coastal Elegance

Down a long and winding seaside road, this oceanfront home beautifully blends textures inspired by the sea and sky to capture the pure and authentic beauty of the West Coast. 

Home to a family with a deep rooted appreciation for the outdoors, we wanted to strengthen the home's connection to the private beachfront beyond. To do so, we prioritized the use of high-end natural materials, and introduced a restrained palette of sun-drenched oak and ethereal whites to frame the unobstructed view. Greeting the tiered outdoor living area with a wall of sliding glass doors, Salt & Oak enhances the ultimate indoor/outdoor living experience.

With practicality and durability at the helm, the home’s well appointed Kitchen features polished nickel hardware and knurled handles to minimize fingerprints, while honed Loire Limestone adjacent to the textured Tadlact hood fan capture the raw and unedited beauty of the West Coast. To maintain consistency, custom white oak millwork was thoughtfully carried throughout the living area to stay true to a balanced and minimalist aesthetic. 

Featuring innovative design solutions, the living area showcases a white oak feature wall to conceal the TV from the forefront, while custom motorized blinds recessed into the ceiling parallel the viewscape. The epitome of elevated luxury, Salt & Oak incorporates a heated shower bench, while automated lighting and an integrated speaker system create an unparalleled sensory experience.
